Outdoor Gear Malaysia recently did a follow up on Mission Kayaks in Malaysia. We saw how they did their road show as well as organizing a kayak ‘test’ session for their potential customers. Like buying cars, you should be able to test out your kayaks before making that first payment.

Note the stictchings on the underneath of this camo flysheet. The stitchings are necessary to join two pieces of fabric together to create the desired size
A waterproof flysheet is very important when we go camping or just trekking in the jungle of Malaysia. It provides us shelter from rain and shine, hence it only makes sense that we maintain it well. Sold either in sheet form or comes with your tent, most sold in Malaysia are not ‘seam sealed’. This ‘seam’ part is where sticthings are made to join the flysheet fabric together and this causes puncture holes (from the stitchings itself) on the fabric and this lets water through. So, here’s a way for you to waterproof your flysheet/ tent stitching without having to buy expensive products with 1001 claims.
