Outdoor Gear Malaysia received quite a number of inquiries about fishing tackle equipment in Klang Valley, so we decided to ask around. One particular name that kept popping up is Nick’s Tacklebox Adventure in SS15, Subang Jaya. His shop has been described as a one stop center for fishing enthusiasts but above all, a place with friendly and personalized service.
Well, Nick’s shop is not new, that’s for sure. He has been operating his business for over 14 years and as a fishing kaki himself, he really knows his stuff. The first thing that took us by surprise when we entered his store is the array of colorful packages that decorates the walls of his shop.

One of Nick’s specialties is fly-fishing. While this form of artistic fishing is relatively new in Malaysia, Nick has definitely placed his business as the forefront in the market. From custom made rods to hand made flies, Nick also offers classes to his clients on fly tying as well as fly casting.
